The Norma Wood Library offers access to many resources to help you when it comes time to format your paper and/or cite your sources. A few of these resouces are described below and are arranged based on function and formatting style.

Citation Machine


APA Format

American Psychological Association (APA) format is used most commonly within the sciences. The library offers multiple resources, both print and electronic, to help you in setting up your paper and citing your sources using APA format.

MLA Format

Modern Language Association (MLA) format is used most commonly within the liberal arts and humanities. The library offers multiple resources, both print and electronic, to help you in setting up your paper and citing your sources using MLA format.

Citation Machine

The Citation Machine is a great tool to help you when it comes time to create your works cited or bibliography page. Simply enter the identifying information for each of your sources and the Citation Machine will generate a citation in the format requested. Formats supported include APA, MLA, Turbian and Chicago.

Once you arrive at the Citation Machine site, click on one of the four links (APA, MLA, Turbian, Chicago) on the left side of the page to get started creating your citations.
