Students who are offered a federal student loan on their award notice and wish to accept the loan will be required to complete a Student Loan Entrance interview and Master
Promissory Note (MPN) is they are borrowing a student loan for the first time at Arkansas State University – Mountain Home.
When the student accepts the loan being offered and returns the signed award letter, the Financial Aid Office will electronically process a loan application for the student. The student will be notified by email or regular mail when it is time to complete the Entrance Interview and Master Promissory Note.
NOTE: Students should not try to complete this process until the Financial Aid Office has submitted the loan application and it has been received for processing. Completing these documents beforehand only causes a delay.
Students who have borrowed funds from federal student loans are required to complete a Student Loan Exit Interview. This must be completed when any of the following occurs:
