What do I want to do with my life? This is a question I have worn on my forehead most of my life, and ASUMH was my gateway to an answer. Everything about this college makes me feel at home. Faculty members always have an open door – classmates encourage you when your chips are down – and every resource available to an ASUMH student is significant.
I completed my associate and bachelor degrees on this campus, and am currently taking one year off before I begin a masters program. It is because of the opportunity to work for ASUMH I have decided to further my education beyond a four year degree - all in hopes that I will be able to continue helping others advance their education.
Education was not an option for me, it was a necessity. It was like being on a rollercoaster. No substantial control, just the ability to hang on and make the best of everything that came my way. I do not imagine the ride is over, but finally I feel like I am fully prepared for the next dive into the unknown.
