Concurrent Enrollment:

Act 1097 of the General Assembly provides for students who are enrolled in an accredited high school and meet the admission standards of ASUMH to enroll concurrently for academic courses. The 2010 Arkansas State Regulations require ALL concurrent credit students have a minimum ACT READING score of 19 or a COMPASS score of 82. In addition to required READING score, concurrent credit students must also meet minimum placement scores as shown below.

High school students must submit the following:

1. A formal application for admission.
2. American College Test (ACT), SAT, ASSET, or COMPASS Test scores. (In accordance with state law, test scores are required for placement in math, English, and reading.)
3. An official high school transcript.
4. Documentation (required by Arkansas statute) of two immunizations for measles, rubella, and mumps.
5. ASUMH Letter of Recommendation form completed by a designated high school official.
