Student surveys will be conducted to get student input on possible NEW activities! So, be sure to watch for the survey in your ASUMH portal and give us your feedback!

Acts of Kindness: For years ASUMH has hosted an annual "Acts of Kindness Day" for all students and employees on campus. This day is dedicated to helping others. Various charity opportunities are available, and the entire campus unites under the call to assist those in need, encourage your fellow citizen, and radiate positivity!

Career Fair: Every year a Career Fair is provided for ASUMH students. Businesses from the local community corresponding to ASUMH degree plans are invited to come to campus. Students then get a chance to interact with these businesses and learn about the career opportunities they offer.  Many of the students provide resumes and interact with these potential employers.

Fire it up: Each year the Office of Student Services hosts Fire It Up. The event is primarily designed to facilitate interaction between new students and returning students, faculty and staff.  This event gives new students an opportunity to see the different types of organizations we have on campus. It also gives the organizations a chance to recruit new members. During the event we give all students an opportunity to tell us which event(s) they would like to see on campus in the coming academic year.

Finals Breakfast: East semester the Office of Student Support Services provides free breakfast to all of students! Breakfast is typically provided in Gaston Lobby and is available each day finals are occurring on campus.

Halloween Costume Contest: Students, faculty, and staff all participate in this highly competitive costume contest. Costume categories include children, groups, individuals, and many more! Judges for the community attend the event and award prizes.

Intramural Basketball: Student Services provides Spring semester Basketball competitions.  Intramural basketball has been a solid student interest for years. Students continue to enjoy participating in the the games and tournaments.

Kids Bash / Haunted House: Each October, the SGA and the Office of Student Services sponsors/coordinates the ASUMH Fall Festival.  One component of Fall Festival is Kids Bash, jointly organized by ASUMH, Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce and KTLO.  At the 2010 Fall Festival over twenty local businesses participated in Kids Bash; a one-night community celebration which focused on providing a safe and fun Halloween event for children.  On the other nights of Fall Festival, ASUMH student organizations provided entertainment, food, and fun for all ages.

Jingle on the Green: Each December, the ASUMH hosts the ASUMH Jingle on the Green. This event is free and open to the public. It includes musical performances, 1000 luminaries on display outside, free cookies, popcorn and hot cocoa, as well as pictures with Santa! Bring your camera!

Spring Fling: The Student Government Association sponsors this traditional college event where students are encouraged to “let their hair down” a bit prior to gearing up for finals.  The event features music and many outdoor games and activities such as volleyball, badminton and horseshoes.  Spring Fling is co-sponsored by the Criminal Justice Club.  The CJ Club offers the food and fellowship for this event with their annual Bar-B-Que.

Student Formal: Each spring, the Student Activities Board hosts an annual student formal.

Talent Show: The Phi Theta Kappa student group hosts a Talent Show designed to showcase student and community talent.  Students who would like to perform can sign up individually or in groups. Traditionally the talent includes instrumental performances, comedy acts, dance and vocal performances. Judges from the community attend the events and award prizes.
