Certificate of Proficiency (CP) in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

This program provides for lecture and practical training to adhere to the 1994 U. S. Department of Transportation EMT – Basic National Standard Curriculum. Focus is placed on the knowledge and skills an individual needs to possess in pre-hospital emergency care to function as part of a team providing pre-hospital care to the ill and injured. Students successfully completing the program will be eligible to take the required State and National examination. This program is a pre-requisite for the TC and AAS in Paramedic Technology.
