In addition to traditional academic programs, ASUMH offers a variety of services to serve the community. Secondary Center classes are offered for students in K-12 schools in the area. Community Education classes are offered for life-long learning and are just for fun. There are no tests or grades and these short-term courses are not for credit. Workforce Training programs are often customized for business and industry and both for-credit and not-for-credit classes.

in all categories
except the Youth category,
which is
$2 per photo

SPECIFIC ENTRY DETAILS

Images of any dimension are allowed, including square, vertical or horizontal, but should not be larger than 15” x 15”. For instance, a landscape photo may be 15” wide x 5” tall.
Upload limit of 15 MB per photo.
Credit or Debit card payment required upon upload.
A photo may be entered in multiple categories at $5 per each category entry.
Photographer’s name, address, phone number and email address will be required.
Image titles should be six words or less.
No printing or mounting of entries is required. Photos will be uploaded digitally.
Edited, manipulated, Photoshopped photos are welcome in any category.

Each individual photographer will determine the appropriate category for each of their photos. For instance, a photo of an interesting insect on a beautiful flower could be entered into the Plants category or the Nature category, or it may be entered separately in both categories.

Committee reserves the right to move any photo if it is deemed to have been entered into an incompatible category.

Entries will be screened by the contest committee and may be disqualified for one or more of the following reasons:
Failure to strictly adhere to contest rules and regulations
Acceptability of image subject matter
Photo is either too large or too small to be displayed.
No identifying marks may appear on the image such as watermarks or logos.

ELIGIBILITY

• All amateur photographers are welcome to enter photos they have taken with any digital device. As this is an amateur photography contest, professional photographers who make their living selling photos/photography services are not allowed to enter.
• All current students (including college students) are eligible to enter.
• Photographs that have been awarded a prize or ribbon in this contest in previous years are not eligible to be re-entered.
• Employees of ASUMH, Integrity First Bank, The Baxter Bulletin and Donald W. Reynold’s Library are eligible to enter.

CONDITIONS
Entrants agree to public display, web site publishing, newspaper printing, or any other educational promotional use of submitted imagery. Entrants pledge their amateur status, that the submitted work comes from their digital device, and that they have exclusive legal rights to the image.
